Who do we serve?
The FYCH Short Term Residential Treatment Program (STRTP) is licensed by the State of California to help male at-risk youth and non-minor dependents aged 12 to 21. FYCH defines “male” as male assigned at birth or male transgender who identify as female. FYCH is located in the Central Valley (Fresno), California, and welcomes youth from all over the state.
Treatment Behaviors
- Excessive worrying or fear
- Feeling excessively sad or low
- Thinking about suicide
- Difficulty relating to others
- Overuse of alcohol or drugs
- Bipolar Disorder
- Extreme mood changes, including uncontrollable "highs" or feelings of euphoria
- Aggression towards others
