Our Mission
"Our mission is to integrate individualized mental health, care and supervision for youth and non-minor dependents that have histories of abuse, neglect, and/or delingquent behavior. Youth and non-minor dependents are served through intensive, culturally relevant, trauma-informed, and developmentally appropriate services, coupled with a safe and secure environment to reduce symptoms that led the youth into placement."
Our purpose
Fresno Youth Care Homes, Inc. (FYCH) is licensed by the State of California as a Short-Term Residential Treatment Program (STRTP) to serve male at-risk youth and non-minor dependents, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For purposes of admission, FYCH defines “male” as a male assignment at birth or male transgender who identifies as female. The program intends to meet or improve youth educational, vocational and therapeutic needs. In addition to this, FYCH also focuses on elevating the significance of building relationships within the youth’s life. The goal is to be able to successfully reunify, or transition, the youth in an appropriate placement setting and equip them with the adequate resources to integrate into the community and succeed as an individual.

Fresno Youth Care Homes, Inc. collaborates with the local community to provide a vast number of services to meet each individuals needs. emphasizing positive processes for growth and development.
FYCH will not provide directly, but will make available and arrange for the following specialty mental health services, as determined by individual assessments of the youth’s medical necessity, and needs.
FYCH Clinicians and Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialists willdirectly provide the following internal service array to support progress towards the client plan goals:
- Case Management
- Assessment
- Plan Development
- Individual, Family, and/or Group Therapy
- Crises intervention
- Rehabilitation (Individual and/or Group)
- Intensive Care Coordination (ICC)
- Intensive Home-Based Services (IHBS)
- Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS)
