 Verification of Prior Related Experience:

Residential childcare experience, means work experience in the provision of direct childcare worker duties to children residing in out-of-home care. It also includes the first-line supervisors of childcare workers. Qualifying employment includes the following: Group homes; County receiving homes/shelters; County Juvenile Hall/Camp; Juvenile detention facilities; Public or private mental health day treatment programs; Licensed or certified foster parent. The following work experience qualifies: Teacher of SED children; Juvenile Probation Officer; Child Protective Services worker. Residential adult drug and alcohol treatment programs or mental health treatment qualifies ONLY when the program statement specifies that the population of children served required this experience and it is appropriate for the population. Providers must have documentation of prior experience before assigning a weighting for experience.

First Aid Certification First Aid Certification is required for all employment and is stipulated in the Title 22 Regulations

Health Screen/Physical Exam (LIC 503)

Confirmation of physical examination (valid one full year) must be submitted with application to be considered for employment.

Fingerprint Clearance or Request of Live Scan (LIC 9163)

Fingerprint clearance is required for all/any adolescent employment and is stipulated in the Title 22 Regulations. Live Scan Finger Printing is located at 1754 E. Bullard, Suite 105, Fresno, CA 93710. (559) 476-6853
