FYCH Clinicians and Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialists will directly provide the following internal service array to support progress towards the client plan goals:

   

  •         Case Management
  •         Assessment
  •         Plan Development
  •         Collateral services with family members or significant others to support the youth
  •         Individual, Family, and/or Group Therapy
  •         Crisis intervention
  •         Rehabilitation (Individual and/or Group)
  •         Intensive Care Coordination (ICC)
  •         Intensive Home-Based Services (IHBS)

 

FYCH will not provide directly, but will make available and arrange for the following specialty mental health services, as determined by individual assessments of the youth’s medical necessity, and needs. 

  •    Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS)
  •     Medication evaluation and support/management services (provided through agreement with Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health)
  • Maintenance of each youth’s identity and individuality.
  • Problem-solving treatment plan based upon individual needs.
  • Consistent application of established limits and structures.
  • Recreation outlets that encourage personal and team accomplishment, personal gratification and strengthening of confidence levels.
  • Ongoing and purposeful liaison with community based agencies the focus upon enhancing treatment and training objectives in and outside the facility.

Fresno Youth Care Homes, Inc. (FYCH) is a non-profit corporation with nearly twenty years experience elevating the significance of building relationships and improving the mental health and quality of life for at-risk youth and non-minor dependents using culturally relevant, trauma-informed and age/developmentally appropriate methods.  FYCH operates two (2) CARF accredited facilities licensed by Community Care Licensing to provide children residential care services 24 hours/7 days a week here in Fresno County. FYCH will provide short-term, specialized, and intensive treatment to youth placed in our care.  

 FYCH works collaboratively with the youth and county placement agencies to identify and address each youth’s needs and services. Every effort is made to build a bridge for each youth to transition to a successful life after discharge (i.e., reunification, relative placement, foster placement, adoption, AB12/transitional living, etc.)  FYCH Clinicians, Case Managers, LVN, Psychiatrist and Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist to provide the following services:  

  • Mental Health Assessment
  • Therapy
  • Case management
  • Crisis intervention
  • Collateral
  • Plan Development
  • Medication Support Services 
  • Rehabilitation
  • ICC services 

 

Specialty Mental Health Services will be available to youth, according to the youth’s needs as indicated on the youth’s Plan of Care.  These services are currently being provided through Medi-cal County Contracted providers or presumptive transfer.

Residential care and supervision rates are set by the California Department of Social Services Foster Care Rates Bureau and payment is received through the placement county Department of Social Services.

Fresno Youth Care Homes, Inc. (FYCH) is licensed by the State of California as a Short-Term Residential Treatment Program (STRTP) to serve male at-risk youth and non-minor dependents, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
